URGENT MESSAGE!!
Rotarian Earthquake Relief for Haiti. I am appealing to you for your generous support of the District's Charitable Fund to aid the people of Haiti. I have been in contact with DG Errol Alberga, my classmate from District 7020, and have assured him that we will respond in a manner befitting this great District. I am told the needs are overwhelming.
A Rotarian in Haiti told us he has a hundred victims in his yard that he is caring for presently. He has turned his home into a shelter but he is running out of supplies. This is the story across the country. The people are suffering. There are many dead in the streets. Our efforts today will save lives.
District 6900 Rotarian Wayne Robinson (R/C Alpharetta-Office Furniture) is on the way to Haiti with the ShelterBox team. Today, the District ordered ShelterBox kits for delivery to Haiti. We understand a first shipment of kits is moving today and more kits are being assembled at this time. Gifts made now will enable us to provide additional life sustaining kits. We will need funding to do more!
Gifts may be made to the District 6900 Charitable Fund for a tax receipt. Your checks should be made payable to Rotary District 6900 Charitable Fund, Inc and mailed to:
Cheryl Greenway, Treasurer
Rotary District 6900
935 Forrest Street, Suite C
Roswell, GA 30075
Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Haiti and with the
Rotarians and relief workers pouring into the country to render aid.
Let's support their efforts with generous gifts.

Rotary and Laws of Life: A Dynamic Duo! Thanks to Rotary involvement, the contest generated over 44,000 essays last year and is now the largest essay contest of its kind in North America. In 2008-2009, 32 Georgia Rotary Clubs served as school sponsors, and several Rotarian-owned businesses served as sponsors as well.
We hope your club will be a part of the Georgia Laws of Life program for the 2009-2010 contest year.
